Natal Drums
I was contacted a few weeks ago to shoot some commercial images for Natal Drums, to showcase a new drum kit design they are about to release. The project was arranged with two local female drummers who would play a drum duet, to showcase the natal drums and would also be filmed for advertising purposes.
I was asked to come along and photograph initially the drum kits and some drum hardware suppled by Potter & Davis, and also some live action images of the drummers performing their drum duet.
We had limited time on the project so all of the photography had to be fitted into a couple of hours.
I have to say a really enjoyable shoot, the drummers were brilliant, and the kits looked stunning. Below are a few imagers from the shoot.

I bought a drone
I finally gave in after many months of putting it off, and I've bought myself a drone.
I looked at all of my options and have settled on the dji mini 2 drone. I think for the price and the fact it comes in under the magic 250g limit in the uk it's a good choice. The fact I can get a drone this size with a 4k camera and raw photo images is pretty impressive, good work dji.
I've flown the drone a couple of times and to a complete novice it seems pretty straightforward and enjoyable to fly. I'm excited by the new image options I'm going to have with my new camera in the sky, and have a few still and video projects already in mind.
